Delivery

On FURIOUS Detailing, no surprises when ordering!
You contribute up to 6 € to the shipping costs on the whole site. As soon as your basket exceeds 100 € of purchase, the shipping costs are FREE, regardless of the content and/or weight of your package!

 

Shipping your package

Packages are generally prepared immediately (the same day of your order) and then delivered to the carrier the next day (working day) after receipt of payment. They are shipped via the shipping method selected at the time of validation of your order. We adapt the choice of carrier according to the nature, weight and volume of your order while respecting the delivery method you have chosen (home delivery, pickup relay or other).

Your contribution to the shipping costs is €6 including VAT up to €100 of purchase. Beyond this amount, shipping costs are free.

Whenever possible, we systematically send you a tracking number for your package.

Shipping costs include preparation and packaging costs as well as shipping costs. We recommend that you group all your items in one order. We cannot group two orders placed separately and shipping charges apply to each of them. 

The dimensions of the boxes are appropriate and your items are properly protected.

 

In case of absence at the time of home delivery

When the package is presented and in the absence of the consignee, the carrier at his initiative may:

  • Automatically organize a new delivery on the next business day. Often, a notice of passage is left in the mailbox informing you of the date of the next passage.
    Depending on the carrier, you may be asked to contact the carrier to arrange a specific date for delivery.
     
  • Make the package available at the post office to which your municipality belongs (Transporter LA POSTE - Colissimo). Usually, a notice of passage is left in the mailbox, but unfortunately this is not always the case. We invite you to regularly check the delivery of your package via the tracking of packages that we send you each time we ship. Your package is then to be collected within 15 days.
     
  • Leave the package at a partner pickup point of the carrier usually close to your home. This gives you longer opening hours and days than post offices to pick up your parcel. Your package is then kept for a period of 15 days.

Do not hesitate to contact us if you do not obtain precise information on the status and delivery of your order and you find the delivery time unusually long.

 

Receipt of your package

Upon receipt of your package, it is essential to have special attention and also to have some useful reflexes following an order on the Internet.

Please note that in the transport of a remote order, particularly on the Internet, the responsibility for the transport is borne by the recipient, i.e. the customer. 

Here are some important tips to follow when receiving your packages:

  1. Check the condition of the package
    The condition of the package gives a good indication of the quality of the transport and the condition of the goods inside the package. If the cardboard is somewhat damaged, torn or even opened, do not hesitate to take a few pictures from several angles with your smartphone (easy and fast) of the package before opening, in the presence of the delivery person. All the pictures taken at the time of delivery will be of great help and assistance in the event of a complaint.
    Then proceed to open the box and check the various products. If products are apparently degraded or broken, also take pictures of them in their context, i.e. in their box or near their original box. Ideally, in the cardboard box that was used for transport or close by so that the delivery context is always verifiable and indisputable.
     
  2. Expressing reservations
    In case of a problem with the delivery it is imperative to express reservations on the delivery person's roadmap. That is to say, write your various remarks as precisely as possible (quality, quantity, etc.). Without these annotations, it will be impossible for you to make any claim.

    Please also note that remarks such as "subject to control", "subject to unpacking" or "damage to be checked" have no legal value. All observations must be made at the time of delivery.

    The delivery person cannot tell you that he is in a hurry and cannot wait for you to make the necessary findings. It is his job to help you and accompany you in the steps and reservations to be applied if necessary. Do not sign any document presented by the delivery person without having completed your verifications and noted your reservations on the same document to be signed.

    The delivery person may also dispute your remarks in writing on the same delivery sheet. The photos will then be essential to judge the state of the delivery
     
  3. Complaints
    An additional formality is required to make your remarks and obtain compensation. Notify the carrier by RAR letter of a reasoned protest within 3 (three) days of receipt, failing which the action for liability against the carrier will be terminated.
    This formality must be carried out if you have not made valid reservations but also if the carrier has expressly contested them.
